Seven facts, one pattern: every headline detail of Infiniti’s profile surfaced after One Battle After Another made her a name.

What is Chase Infiniti Payne’s real name?

Chase Infiniti Payne is the full legal name, and the shorter Chase Infiniti is the professional version. The name is unusual enough that it has become part of the story.

Why is Chase Infiniti her name?

• Chase comes from Nicole Kidman’s Batman Forever character Chase Meridian (People’s name-origin story).
• Infiniti was inspired by Buzz Lightyear’s “to infinity and beyond,” and Payne remains her legal surname even though she doesn’t use it on screen (Elle’s interview coverage).

How old is Chase Infiniti?

• She was 25 during the 2025 publicity cycle for One Battle After Another (Biography.com’s actor profile).
• Some profiles list her birth date as May 1, 2000 (see the quick snapshot above).
• Her exact birth date has not been officially confirmed.

Where was Chase Infiniti born?

• Born in Indianapolis, Indiana (Dazed’s interview profile).
• She later trained in Chicago at Columbia College Chicago.

The implication: her legal name is straightforward, but the public name is a piece of carefully built branding. Payne anchors the private identity; Chase Infiniti is the part built to be remembered.

How did Chase Infiniti get into acting?

Most breakout stories follow a familiar pipeline: theater training, a showcase, a small screen role, then the studio lead. Chase Infiniti’s path matches that order almost exactly.

How did Chase Infiniti get discovered?

• Growing up, she was surrounded by musical theater — her mother took her and her younger sister to plays and musicals (People’s family report).
• By 2023 she had her first major screen role in Presumed Innocent (Biography.com’s actor profile).

What training did she have?

• Her formal training was in musical theater at Columbia College Chicago, where she completed a BFA in 2022 (Biography.com’s actor profile).

What this means: Infiniti’s breakthrough wasn’t a viral audition or a famous family connection. It came from a formal training pipeline — school musicals, a BFA, a showcase — that finally intersected with Hollywood.

Who are the parents of Chase Infiniti?

As noted in the quick snapshot, Infiniti’s parents are Keith and Kim Payne, and she has a younger sister named Dolcé. People has published most of what is known about the family, including her father’s business.

The trade-off: her family details are public enough to satisfy basic curiosity, but her romantic life remains one of the few areas she has kept entirely out of the frame.

Who plays Dicaprio’s daughter in One Battle After Another?

• Chase Infiniti plays Willa, the daughter of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character Bob Ferguson (Encyclopaedia Britannica’s film entry).
• The credits also identify her character as Charlene Calhoun/Willa Ferguson.

Why is Chase Infiniti so popular?

Part of the popularity is the name itself. A name like Chase Infiniti reads as invented even when it isn’t, and that curiosity keeps the search queries coming.

Why this matters: popularity without a personal scandal is often fragile. Infiniti’s current fame rests on a single film and a curious backstory, so her next credit will be scrutinized more than most debuts.

Is Chase Infiniti half black?

The short answer is yes, based on published accounts: her father is Black and her mother is white.

What is Chase Infiniti’s ethnicity?

• Father Black, mother white, according to published accounts (Dazed’s interview profile).
• She has not issued an official statement about a broader ethnic background.

Who looks like Chase Infiniti?

Online comparisons to other mixed-race actresses are common, but none are endorsed by Infiniti herself.

The pattern: the question is bigger than ethnicity — it’s about how quickly audiences try to categorize a new face that arrives with almost no backstory. The family facts answer part of it; the rest stays private.

Timeline: from Indianapolis to One Battle After Another

Six moments, one pattern: each step moved her from regional musical theater toward a studio feature.

What this means: the jump from 2023’s supporting TV role to 2025’s PTA lead looks sudden, but the infrastructure — formal training, a showcase, an agent — was in place years earlier.

The takeaway

Chase Infiniti Payne’s rise is a case study in how a single studio film can turn a trained but unknown theater actor into a name the internet must research. Her debut in One Battle After Another came with DiCaprio’s star power and Anderson’s prestige attached, but the durability of that fame depends on what she chooses next. For a 25-year-old entering the industry’s most crowded casting cycle, the path is clear: take the serious follow-up role quickly — or let the momentum of a spectacular debut cool into a footnote.
